Terms and refunds

The plain-English version of how working with Galt Interfaces goes. Last updated October 26, 2026.

Who you're working with

Galt Interfaces is a web design business run by Jack in St. Petersburg, Florida. Questions about anything on this page go to jack@galtinterfaces.com.

You see it before you pay

For websites and landing pages, your new site is built first and shared on a private preview link. You only pay the setup fee once you've seen it and approved it. Online stores and web apps are quoted in writing first and split into milestones, and each milestone is paid when you approve it.

One round of changes is included before launch. Bigger changes to the agreed scope, like extra pages or new features, are quoted before any work starts.

Payment

Invoices are sent through Stripe and can be paid by card or bank transfer. Setup invoices are due within 7 days. Monthly and yearly plans are billed automatically at the start of each period.

Refunds

Because you approve the work before paying for it, setup fees aren't refunded once a site is approved and launched or its files are handed over. If something isn't right, tell me and I'll fix it.

Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime, with no contract. Cancelling stops the next charge, and the current month isn't refunded. If you cancel a yearly plan, the unused full months are refunded.

The one-time texting setup covers phone carrier registration fees that are paid to the carriers, so it isn't refundable once registration has been submitted.

The care plan

The care plan covers hosting, security, backups, your domain, online booking, review requests, Google profile care, and up to an hour of changes each month. Unused time doesn't roll over, and extra time is $75 an hour, agreed with you first. Changes are usually done within 2 to 3 business days.

Founder rates stay the same for two years. After that, any price change comes with at least 60 days' notice.

You own your site

Once it's paid for, your website is yours: the design, the code, your content and your domain. If you ever leave, you get all the files and help moving your domain, with nothing held back.

Galt Interfaces may show your site as an example of past work. If you'd rather it didn't, just say so.

Your photos and content

By sending photos, logos and text for your site, you confirm you have the right to use them. If you need photos, licensed stock images can be used instead.

Outside services

Some features rely on other companies, such as hosting providers, Google, Stripe, and the phone carriers used for texting. Their outages and rule changes are outside my control, but I'll work with you to fix any problems they cause.

Limits

I'll always do my best to keep your site running and secure, but no website can be guaranteed to be online 100% of the time. If something goes wrong, Galt Interfaces' responsibility is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before it happened.

Your information

Details you send through the quote form or by email are only used to reply to you and do your project. They're never sold or shared for marketing.

Florida law

These terms follow Florida law. If any of them change, the date at the top of this page changes too, and current clients are told about anything that affects them.
